To expose the hook blade, place your thumb on the lever at the side of the knife

Push the lever until it clicks into position and the hook blade is exposed

Once exposed, use the hook blade to cut the material needed

After usage, the hook blade will automatically retract back into the knife

The basic criteria for a knife or cutter to be included in the Detectamet range of metal detectable safety cutters will meet with the following:

A genuine safety knife with a safety index of 4 or less(1 = bladeless, 2 = enclosed blade,3 = fully automatic blade retraction, 4 = semi automatic balde retraction, 5 = manual blade retraction)

A knife which has a low risk of breaking into fragments with min parts

Visually detectable BLUE COLOUR as standard
